		<description>I think it is easier with a newborn in the infant insert, since they are already lying down.  You simply loosen the Ergo shoulder straps, rotate the infant insert with your baby, latch on, and snug up the straps again.</description>

I asked a mom awhile back about this when I was thinking of a purchase and she said NO you could not -especially a newborn that can not hold his/ her head up. I will have to learn more about hte ERGO. Tell me more, please!</description>
